Fire breaks out at Hedonism II in Jamaica.
This evening, shortly after 5:00 p.m., a fire broke out in the garden view nude spa buliding. Two rooms were reported to be total losses, and two or more experienced smoke and water damage.
According to reports, the Westmoreland Fire Department received the call at 5:18 p.m., and two fire engines responded, one from Negril and the other from Savanna-la-Mar. However, firefighters from the Negril unit were able to put out the fire.The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and no injuries or fatalities have been recorded. The firefighters at Hedonism II responded quickly and effectively, preventing any injuries or fatalities.
You may recall in 2021 the flame restaurant caught on fire and had to be rebuilt .
Hedonism II resort released the following statement:

We want to advise you that the damage was contained to the spa block - Garden View Near Spa (GVNS) room category. Once we receive the final assessment from the fire department, we will provide more information.
Our priority is to upgrade any affected guests or compensate any guests who are downgraded. This is of course subject to availability. We will try our best not to walk any guests to another resort. However, this may be unavoidable, and we ask that you inform your clients prior to arrival.
