Enjoy An Extra Day to Play At Sea

Explorer of the SeasExplorer of the Seas Itinerary

***All itineraries are subject to change without notice.

Earlier this year, Bliss Cruise announced changes to the dates and ports of call for its April 2025 charter on board the Explorer of the Seas. This charter was initially scheduled to leave from the port of Miami, FL on April 25th, 2025, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we're leaving one day earlier on April 24th, 2025.

The new ports of call stops will be in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and San Juan, Puerto Rico. But here's the really great news: due to the change, we'll get to enjoy an extra day to play at sea!

As we set sail on the Explorer of the Seas, the famous RCI Promenade will be back in action with more playtime and activities to enjoy the Bliss experience. This will be the second time our spring cruisers will get to experience the Royal Promenade.

The Promenade is designed to emulate an upscale European street scene, lined with shops, bars, and a 24-hour cafe (a great venue to snack and people watch). Featuring atmospheric lighting which changes color throughout the day and night, plus quirky art features and sculptures, the area is also a hive of activity.

The Promenade will host a variety of Bliss Cruise Meet & Greets, Bliss Cruise evening themed dance parties, Royal Caribbean Random Acts of Entertainment, and more. It's a great place to gather, hang out and connect with all of your fun-loving friends.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Impressive Beaches and Attractions Awaits

When the Spanish closed their colonial fort on St. Maarten in 1648, a few Dutch and French soldiers hid on the island and decided to share it. Soon after, the Netherlands and France signed a formal agreement to split St. Maarten in half, as it is today.

Philipsburg displays its Dutch heritage in its architecture and landscaping. The island offers endless stretches of beach, beautiful landscapes and great shopping. Discover the undersea world of coral reefs and exotic fish as you take a snorkeling expedition through Shipwreck Cove.

Rendezvous at one of the newest and trendiest restaurants in French St. Maarten and explore Orient Bay, the French Riviera of the Caribbean, with over 1.5 miles of white sandy beaches. There are about 500 duty-free shops on St. Maarten with prices 25% to 50% below those in the U.S. The selection of jewelry and watches is premier on the Dutch side of St. Maarten. Be sure to try a bottle of St. Maarten's own guavaberry liqueur as the guavaberry is exclusive to this island.

St. John's, Antigua

St. John's, Antigua

Beaches, Boating, and Culture

Colorful St. John's will be your stop on a cruise to Antigua, welcoming you to paradise. St. John's is one of the most developed and cosmopolitan municipalities in the Lesser Antilles. The city is famous for its shopping malls as well as boutiques throughout the city, selling designer jewelry and haute-couture clothing.

St. John's is home to 365 white sandy beaches, historic testaments to British colonial occupation, and "kitschy beachy" bars around every corner. Like any tropical destination, St. John's is perfect for lounging beachside, snorkeling and diving, or hiking to see Fort Barrington's watchful eye overlooking the city.

Historic sites like Fort James and St. John's Cathedral make for nice tours leaving plenty of time in your day for tasty Caribbean cuisine and seafood, where the fresh catches of the day rule the local menus.
