Fall in love with our gentle horses, our bumpy trails and for approximately 30 mimutes forget that you’ve left the resort pool behind. This guided tour promises to linger in your memory, long after the end of your vacation. With a brief orientation to the horses, you’ll be saddled up and on your way. This tour needs no experience. However, such trails can also challenge the most advanced of riders. Jamwest assures you that our horseback tour is not a commercial endeavour but more of a bucket list

Safari

The Jeep Safari tour is the perfect getaway for nature lovers! With competing forces of development, it is seemingly difficult to hear the birds sing. See exotic reptiles on a 200ft boardwalk in the center of the swamp system. Jamwest is one of Jamaica’s wildlife reserves and home to over 90 species of birds. Come, journey along our 300 acre property, our rugged trails will definitely romance you. Explore the depths of the mangrove forest, engage in our rich history and be reminded of the importance of environmental preservation. End your time with us, exhaling in seclusion, as you dip into a cool mineral bath. Soak in the luscious beauty of nature and get ready to say “ahhh.”

ATV

A pulsating ATV tour follows, where you’ll be fitted with helmets and goggles to help protect you; it will be an exciting ride through the elements. Hop on for some practice laps around the training area, you’ll get the hang of piloting the vehicle before heading out. No experience is necessary; ATVs are safe and easy to drive. Hit the trail, headed for the fishing village in Salmon Point. Follow your guide through sandy washes, over rocky hills and through strands of hardy mangroves. Once in Salmon Point, relax on the unspoiled sandy beach and catch your breath before heading back. At the end of your 4 hour excursion, rehydrate purchase your photographic memories and head back to your hotel.
