See exotic reptiles on a 200ft boardwalk in the center of the swamp system. Jamwest is one of Jamaica’s wildlife reserves and home to over 90 species of birds. Come, journey along our 300 acre property, our rugged trails will definitely romance you. Explore the depths of the mangrove forest, engage in our rich history and be reminded of the importance of environmental preservation. End your time with us, exhaling in seclusion, as you dip into a cool mineral bath. Soak in the luscious beauty of nature and get ready to say “ahhh.”
ZIPLINE + Horse Back Tour
Our state of the art facilities, features eight towers that soar 60ft high, with 2450ft of zip-lines.
Our “Racing Zip” is exclusive to Jamwest- having zip-lines running parallel, allowing 2 people to race each other simultaneously.
Zipline - What to expect
After you have been picked up from your hotel travel to our 300 acre ranch style property. You will be greeted at our state of the art clubhouse that hosts a restaurant, bar and gift shop. You will meet your guides and get fully equipped with a harness, helmet and gloves, followed by a brief introductive course on our training zip line. A short de briefing on all aspects of the challenges to be expected, hand signals and gestures used by the tour guides. Climb a 60 feet (18 meters) tower then zoom off along 2450 of zip line, high above the ground. Marvel at views of the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding mountains as you fly above the forest canopy. When you reach the end of the line, rappel slowly to the ground, where a waiting safari jeep will take you back to the clubhouse. Take a moment to catch your breath prior to moving on to your next adventure.
Horse Back Riding - What to expect
Your horseback riding adventure begins with pickup at select Negril hotels. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the clubhouse which hosts a restaurant, gift shop and bar. After signing your waiver, get seated in a 4×4 safari vehicle and enjoy a short commute to our horse stable. Your guide will help you choose your horse and get them ready while you wait by our stable lounge. No experience is necessary. Guides lead all rides and are accompanied by a backup rider. Get familiar with this activity before heading out on the trail and receive a safety briefing. Everybody is obliged to wear a helmet for safety. Walk down to Salmon Point fishing village and ride the horses into the ocean where the horses love to play. This is an amazing and unique experience. Trod back to the stable where a safari jeep will pick you up and take you back to the clubhouse for refreshments and to purchase photographic memories before departing for your hotel.

Experience the thrill of driving 3 sports cars on our circuit track alongside one of our professional driving instructors. You get 3 sessions, 5 laps each and you get to drive a different sports car for each session. We supply everything you need including the car, instructor, helmets and gear. Get ready for a blast!!
What to expect
Your driving experience tour begins with pickup at select Negril hotels.
Upon arrival you will be greeted at the clubhouse which hosts a restaurant, gift shop and bar. After signing your waiver, you’ll then be
given a classroom style briefing on safety. You will then be introduced to your driving instructor.
He will then show you how to find the correct racing lines, how to shift and what speed and gear to enter each corner. The cars are professionally fitted with roll cages, fuel cut-offs, racing seats and harness. Now its your turn!

You’ll start off with a warm Jamwest welcome from our team who will proceed in registering you for your tour. You’ll then be given a classroom style briefing on safety. Helmets and all gears are provided to you. We then head out to the track where you will be introduced to your driver who will be seated with you the entire time. You’ll experience hard acceleration, heavy braking and the sweet sound of the engine roaring in the cockpit. Fast, Safe and fun for everyone, Experience the best 5 laps of your life! After signing your waiver, get seated in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Traveling through the trail with highly trained team of tour guides, botanists and zoologists will educate you about the various plants and animals and give you loads of historical information and animal shows. You’ll make stops along the trail and explore the unique habitats of three natural flora and fauna environments: the wetlands, rainforest and grassland. Wonder through the wetlands and see fascinating biodiversity first hand. From the boardwalks, see native crocodiles, iguanas, tortoises, snakes and plenty more animals. Visit the natural lakes and spring ponds and watch wading birds in their natural habitats.
