A la carte Great Blue Hole Dive Tour
Examine the Belize Blue Hole, a UNESCO site.
Off the coast of Belize, in the tiny atoll of Lighthouse Reef Atoll, which lies 43 miles from the mainland and the capital city of Belize, sits the Belize Blue Hole, a perfectly round underwater sinkhole. The Belize Blue Hole, once a limestone cave network, is now one of nature's most extraordinary masterpieces.
A marine wonder with brilliant blue seas, an abundance of coral formations, sharks, and fish, as well as deep caves packed with stalactites was created when the cave flooded during the last Ice Age as sea levels rose. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated the wider Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, which includes The Great Blue Hole, as a World Heritage Site.

One can drop-fish and catch a variety of snapper and king mackerel at the drop-offs and different coral patches. For trolling, head to the reef where there are plenty of opportunities to reel in the waters' year-round residents, barracudas, groupers, and jacks. Despite being more challenging to capture, deep sea species like wahoos, mahi-mahi, and dorados can be caught with the help of our skilled fishing guide on our Deep Sea Fishing Charter.
